David Gerstein's products

David Gerstein Israeli born David Gerstein, or Dudu Gerstein the way his Israeli friends call him, is a self-confident painter and sculptor. Gerstein gazes with a semi-ironic smile at our reality. As though everything around him were merely atoms engaged in a mad race, which in itself generates reality, and if not for that race everything would plunge into black holes or madhouses. Reality as a pointless race is the subject of several of his works. Gerstein started his art studies in the mid-1960s at the Bezalel School of Art in Jerusalem. In 1970, after ten years of study in Jerusalem, Paris and New York, Gerstein began exhibiting his literary-figurative paintings David Gerstein seeks to expand the limits of the two-dimensional paintings into three dimensional sculptures. In his mostly three dimensional art work David Gerstein successfully achieves showing enchanted and simple straight forward scenes in a stunning humoresque way. Among the many small object art pieces of David Gerstein you will find Israeli window with views that only a talented artist can bring forth, Chamsa, the Hand for good luck, statuettes with inscriptions that makes them a great gift for many occasions, Chanukah Menorahs, and many more. Dudu's indoor and outdoor work of art can be seen in Museums and galleries and public places as well as in private collections around the world.
